She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Music Education from Concordia University, Nebraska (2010) and a Master’s degree in School Administration (2024). Kim graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1993 with a Bachelors Degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology. For 13 years, she worked for State Farm Insurance as a Loss Prevention Specialist. Upon the birth of her first daughter, she decided to be a full-time stay at home mom.
