Why Martin Luther School?

Why Martin Luther School?

Updated facilities

We’ve been here in South Joplin for decades, serving our community’s children and families with a great Christian Education. Did you know that Martin Luther School had Joplin’s very first Kindergarten? Our first teacher, Miss Estella Fritz, was a beloved and well-known teacher in our community. Ask around! Miss Fritz and our Early Childhood program are still well-loved and fondly remembered.

Continuing our school’s legacy of serving Joplin families, in a recent building project we multiplied our Early Childhood and Preschool Program with the addition of two tornado safe rooms which double as classrooms for our littlest ones. With heated floors in the new rooms and a backup generator, Martin Luther School has some of the safest, coziest spaces in town—the perfect place to learn and grow for generations to come.

“WHY IS MARTIN LUTHER A GREAT PLACE TO LEARN? CHRIST FIRST, CHRISTIAN RELATIONSHIPS, AND STRONG ACADEMICS!”

Mrs. Mollie Ramstad, School Principal
