Bible Bee 2026
Congratulations to Our Winners
Every year at Martin Luther School, students put in the work of hiding God’s Word in their hearts — and every year, the Bible Bee gives them a chance to show it. On May 20, 2026, MLS held its annual Bible Bee competition, and students from every classroom stepped up to compete.
“I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”
Psalm 119:11 (ESV)
The Bible Bee is more than a competition. It is a practice — a deliberate choice to take God’s Word seriously enough to learn it, carry it, and know it well enough to recall it under pressure. At MLS, that practice starts in the classroom, where each grade’s students compete against each other for the right to advance. The students who rise to the top of their classrooms then face off school-wide for the top three spots.
Overall Winners
🥇 1st Place — Daniel Lesley, 5th Grade
🥈 2nd Place — Katheryne Ramstad, 6th Grade
🥉 3rd Place — Auriel Ulibarri, 7th Grade

Daniel, Katheryne, and Auriel didn’t get here by accident. This kind of result comes from months of daily practice — reading, reviewing, and returning to the same verses until they become part of you. That’s exactly what a Lutheran education is designed to do: give students a relationship with Scripture that goes far beyond the classroom and lasts a lifetime.
Classroom Champions
Every student who competed today as a classroom champion earned that spot. It means they rose to the top of their own grade, outperforming peers who also came prepared. That’s not a small thing. Congratulations to every classroom champion who represented their grade today.

The Bible Bee is one of the ways MLS fans into flame a passion for God’s Word in every student — not just the ones who finish first. Every child who opened their Bible, reviewed their verses, and showed up ready today is already doing exactly what this school exists to help them do. We are proud of all of them.
