No school Wednesday through Friday, November 25–27, 2026 for Thanksgiving Break.
Students are actually out the whole week. Monday and Tuesday, November 23–24, are professional development days for teachers and staff — a working week for our faculty, not a holiday. Classes resume Monday, November 30.
There is no chapel that Wednesday. Chapel returns to its usual Wednesday 8:15 a.m. slot on December 2.
The stretch after this break is a full one. Enrollment for the next school year opens to MLS families on December 7, and the two Christmas programs follow on December 9 and December 16.
Martin Luther School serves Early Childhood through 8th grade at 2616 S Connecticut Ave in Joplin, Missouri. The full 2026–27 school calendar has every date for the year. Questions? Call the school office at (417) 624-1403.
