Veteran’s Day Chapel is Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 8:15 a.m. in the sanctuary at Immanuel Lutheran Church. School is in session that day as usual.
Veterans and their families are warmly invited. So is anyone else who would like to come — chapel is always open, and this one especially.
Our students gather for chapel every Wednesday morning at 8:15 during the school year. On this Wednesday the service turns toward those who have served in the armed forces: the children honor them by name where we can, and the congregation gives thanks to God for them. It is a short service, and for a room full of children it is a memorable one.
If you are a veteran connected to an MLS family, or know one who would like to be recognized, call the school office ahead of time so we can plan well.
