Jason Glaskey has served as Director of Christian Education at Immanuel Lutheran Church and Martin Luther School since 2008. Known simply as “Mr. Glaskey” to his students and “Jason” to practically everyone else, he teaches middle school religion, leads youth group for students in grades 5–12, and brings energy, humor, and genuine faith to everything he does at MLS.
As a DCE, Mr. Glaskey trains and equips the faith community — serving youth, families, and the congregation at large. At Martin Luther School, you’ll find him in the classroom teaching religion, planning youth events, and walking alongside students through some of the most formative years of their lives. He works closely with Pastor Christopher Ramstad and Principal Mollie Ramstad as part of the school and church’s ministry leadership team.
Mr. Glaskey is also a handler for Daniel, MLS’s beloved K-9 Comfort Dog, who accompanies him to school to provide a calming, joyful presence for students, staff, and visitors alike. If you’ve spent any time at Martin Luther School, you’ve likely already met Daniel — and you’ve probably already met Mr. Glaskey too.
Mr. Glaskey is married to Lyla Glaskey, Called Teacher for Grades 7–8 at MLS and a Commissioned Minister of Religion. Together they serve the Immanuel and MLS community as a team — in the school, in the church, and in the youth ministry that connects both. Their two adult children are both MLS alumni, attending from preschool through 8th grade. Learn more about our academic programs, Faith & Values, or how to enroll.
