Spring Musical Joplin Missouri 2026: About “Out of the Woods”
“Out of the Woods” is a fractured fairytale musical published by KidsWorks Music that reimagines beloved characters like Cinderella, the Tin Man, Snow White, Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, and more. Their familiar stories are tweaked and woven together in surprising, laugh-out-loud ways — all pointing to the truth of God’s Word (Proverbs 3:5–6). This Christian musical is designed to delight performers and audiences of all ages, and it carries a message that every family can take home.
Students Shine on Stage
The Spring Musical is one of the most anticipated events of the school year at Martin Luther School. Students from multiple grade levels work together to rehearse, build the set, learn choreography, and bring “Out of the Woods” to life on stage. This production gives our students the chance to develop confidence, teamwork, and creative expression — all within a Christ-centered environment that encourages every child to use the gifts God has given them.
Whether they are center stage or working behind the curtain, every student who participates grows through the experience. They learn to listen, to serve their fellow cast members, and to give their very best for an audience of families, friends, and neighbors. That combination of hard work, humility, and joy is exactly what Martin Luther School is about — fanning into flame a passion for Christ in everything they do (2 Timothy 1:6).
