Trish Hull teaches Kindergarten at Martin Luther School in Joplin, Missouri — bringing warmth, patience, and a genuine love for young learners to the most important first year of a child’s school journey. Trish Hull isn’t just a member of the MLS faculty; she’s part of the MLS family — her own granddaughter is a student here.
Born and raised in Carl Junction, Mrs. Hull has deep roots in this corner of Missouri and a heart that has always been drawn to young children. Before joining the MLS faculty, she served as an early childhood paraprofessional in the Baxter Springs schools and taught and served in another Christian school environment — experience that shaped her understanding of how faith and learning work together in the lives of little ones. She came to Martin Luther School ready to pour herself into a community that shares those same convictions.
Mrs. Hull has two children and a growing crew of grandchildren — including one who comes through the MLS doors right alongside her teacher-grandma. Outside of school she loves the ocean, and she’s always looking forward to the next trip to Florida to get her toes in the sand. That same delight in the simple, beautiful things of life comes through in her Kindergarten classroom every day.
Rooted in Community, Invested in MLS
Mrs. Hull grew up in Carl Junction and has spent her career serving children in this region — in Baxter Springs schools as an early childhood paraprofessional and in Christian school settings before coming to MLS. Her granddaughter now attends Martin Luther School, making her investment in this community as personal as it gets. She serves alongside Principal Mollie Ramstad and the full MLS faculty in the shared mission of kindling character, sparking joy, and igniting curiosity through the light of Christ.
“He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.”
Isaiah 40:11 (ESV)
