School runs normally all week, September 21–25, 2026. Regular days, regular hours. Students simply take their achievement tests during the week alongside their usual classes.
Nothing changes for families. No early dismissal, no schedule shift, no special drop-off.
NWEA MAP Growth is a nationally normed assessment in reading, math, and language usage. It is not a pass-or-fail test and it is not graded. It shows each teacher where a student is right now and how much that student has grown since the last time — which is what makes it useful. Because the same test is given to students across the country, it also tells us honestly how MLS students compare.
Students test again in January and April, so growth is measured three times a year. The best preparation is the ordinary kind: a full night’s sleep and breakfast.
