No school December 21, 2026 through January 1, 2027 for Christmas Break. Classes resume Monday, January 4, 2027.
The last day before the break is Friday, December 18, a noon dismissal that also closes the second quarter. The school office keeps holiday hours during the break — call ahead before coming by.
School is out, but the church is not. Christmas is the busiest stretch of the year at Immanuel Lutheran Church, and every MLS family is welcome at all of it. Service times for Advent, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the Sundays after are posted at immanueljoplin.com.
Two things worth doing before the break, if you have not already: enrollment for 2027–28 opened to MLS families on December 7, and it opens to the public on January 19. Current families who want to hold a spot are better off enrolling in December than in January.
